The Friends Get The Job Done!
We collected 5,000 signatures in the form of  a petition, for the construction of a historic fort that was forwarded to the government.  The project was not successful at that  time but paved the way for the Playfort that was constructed in 1999.

We purchased  of an archeological tray for student use and the purchase of materials and labour to produce period costumes that are used on many different occasions. We purchased the York boat  that is displayed on site.

And constructed  a spectacular play fort for children
